Not that I want to, but RL is gonna make things a little hectic/exhausting for the next couple of weeks. I am finally getting some hours at work (insert understatement here). Anyways, tomorrow is my day off, and unless a truck gets canceled I won't get another day off until next Thursday. This Thursday would have been a day off, but we got another last minute truck. Plus, a few weeks ago I got cross-trained for cashiering to see if I could get more hours that way. So, last week before the new schedule was posted I was asked if I would cashier on the dreaded Black Friday. I agreed.

I wasn't aware at the time that I would have a truck this Sunday, or that the cashiering shift will be ten hours long. Oh well. I will have a freakin sweet paycheck, so I honestly don't mind. But you all see why I may be on hiatus for the next couple of weeks. I don't know if I'll have any time or energy for art. I'm hoping I'll find time though seeing as I have two deviations that just need to be shaded and given backgrounds. I also have a couple of nearly completed sketches... so if all goes well I'll find time to get a few more deviations up this month. If not, oh well. It's not the first time I've fallen off the face of DA for a period of time.

In other news, my brother left for Germany last Wednesday. Yes, on Veteran's Day. We haven't heard from him yet, but we figured he's probably just very busy. Speaking of Veteran's Day, I hope that all of you who have served or are serving had a nice day. I would also like to thank all of you for serving our country. You're all awesome.

Much to my joy, I have gotten a new Wacom tablet. To be exact, I got the Bamboo Fun tablet. My previous tablet wasn't really compatible with my laptop and I couldn't use the pressure sensitivity that makes tablets so awesome. To be honest, I bought a refurbished one on Amazon, so I paid 50% less for it. It just arrived today, so I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. I'm so thrilled! My bro has a Bamboo fun, and when he was home I tried it out a little. It handled so much better than my Graphire.

On a random note, I really want to see that movie Avatar that comes out next month. Even though I haven't seen a single preview for it. It might just be because Sam Worthington is in it, and I think he's handsome.
